We all know that humans always seek attention.

Even you.

Attention from friends, family, love …

But my own case was petty.

I was seeking attention from a total stranger who I have nothing Offer to.

In today's mail,I'll be doing something I haven't done in a while….

Tell a long story.

I haven't shared this story with anyone before,you'll be the first to be reading.

It will take about 3 min of your time,but it's going to be worth it.

I just turned 18.

And my friend introduced Twitter to me.

Why?

I was in serious search of Copywriting clients.

I just learnt the skill + I was in desperate need of money.

I tried Facebook,but the clients were not quality..I needed something more.

And then, Twitter showed up as the go-to Platform.

So I just opened an account.

> I used a blurry pic as my PFP

> My header was an image from Google

> My bio was just a list of who I am.

That's not all.

I didn't know how to Tweet, network,or write Threads.

I was just there completely confused, wishing I could get clients.

I stayed up like this for 31 days until I stumbled on this space one cool evening.

I was just randomly scrolling when I decided to join the space of about 200+ listeners and a 19yr old guy speaking.

He has his hand on his chin and had this captivating smirk ( description of his pfp)... His voice was confident and authoritative and that made me interested in what he had to say.

That evening I made the life changing decision to build my personal brand.

But there were two problems:

> I have exactly no understanding on how to build a brand.

> I had no money to pay for mentorship

So the only solution I had is to get the attention of that guy and maybe I'll ask him for tips to grow.

He was a big account around 48k followers at that time,so he had all the information I'll be needing to grow.

How can I get his attention?

I am just one girl who has just 10 Followers.. what do I have to offer?

Nothing really..

I just had to support his content.

If I comment daily on his tweets and threads he might notice me.

How wrong I was.

There were 100s of people on the same quest as me and getting his attention was almost impossible.

I sent a dm and got 0 reply.

Sad right?

But I was like a hungry lion and I was ready to go the extra mile.What I did next will shock you.

I scrolled down to his past tweets and Threads..I went 11 months back.

I came across some of his tweets and threads having 10-20 likes..

Wowww!!

Something then clicked.

I realized that every big Account started from somewhere.

✓ He once struggled with poor Engagement.

✓ His tweet/thread sucked.

✓ he once had 0 followers

All of these made me assured that I can become a big account too.

It won't be easy.

It might take months or years.

But I made this forever commitment.

"I'll rather commit sucide than give up"

Since I became intentional about building my brand and I have

> Showed up every single for 298 days straight.

> Written over 14k tweets and 100+ threads

> Attracted over 1.6k followers

> Made profitable friendship/mentors

But come to think of it, what if I gave up when I didn't get the attention I wanted.

> I wouldn't have improved my writing skill.

> I would have still be below 100 followers.

> I wouldn't have discovered money Twitter

Now,why am I sharing this story with you?

You might have tried to get something but it isn't just working.

You might be in the beginning stage of your journey online and you're confused and stuck.

You might be Furustrated and might want to give up.

I want you to remember this:

It's ok to be a begginer.

It's ok to struggle and feel like to give up

But if you keep on showing up and promise to never give up.

I can assure that you'll see results soon.

You'll get the attention you seek, even without chasing it.

Keep building.

You've got this.
