I failed utterly.

I wasn't able to send even 1 last week.

I am sooooo sorry guys.

It wasn't intentional.(I've had power outrage for the past few days)

But I still accept full responsibility.

Soooo off to why my Mom hit me after 5yrs.

A typical African mother is always ready to correct her child with a cane.( AKA Koboko)

But my mom stopped hitting me when I was just 13.I didn't even remember what I did then though…

But she hit me 10 days ago.

Here's what happened.

It's 10:00pm

And I had this story thread to write.

I haven't written down the outline yet.

Or the story line.

I was tired from work.

I needed to sleep.

But I knew I am supposed to write the thread and edit it before I close my sleepy eyes.

As usual,I write with pen on paper before I type on my phone.So I started writing while sitting on the warm tiles.( I don't have a fancy workplace yet)

By 11pm,I was done with writing the thread.So I just need to type and edit it on my phone right?While I was at it,mom came into my room.

( 1 thing an African parent hates is to see their kids on their phone, especially at night)

She started shouting at me.

In her voice:

"Everytime you're always pressing phone…. You're not doing anything with your life, just phone!!phone!!"

She kept on talking for over 10min.

As she kept talking,I started getting upset..

It got so intense that I replied her:

"But you don't see me sleep late often.."

That was what pulled the trigger,I didn't know where she found a stick..she started using it to hit me.

I didn't stop her..

But I was just there crying.

After she left,I was sooo angry.

Likeeee 😠I had to lock the door of my room.And continue sobbing like a cry baby.

My eyes were sore red.

My head was aching.

My mind was in chaos.

Nevertheless,I talk to myself to ignore my feelings and complete the thread.

I completed the thread, edited it and then scheduled it.

And guys..

That thread did sooooooo well.

Now,why am I sharing this story??

As a creator,or someone who runs a business online..

Most people in the real world, are ignorant of what's going on the internet.

(When I tell most people I am a Creator on Twitter.They are very surprised..Likeeee?😯)

And because they are ignorant, they'll think you're just wasting your time and life.

And because they 'love you' they'll try to stop or discourage you.

Don't listen to their advice.

They may be family or best friends.But that doesn't matter.

Focus on what you're doing.

Prove to em that you can make cool money on the this space.

I'll be proving to my mom by getting her a house with the money I earn from my Ghostwriting biz.

She'll be shocked!
